Book from the official timetable

Arrive at Seoul Station before departure
Airport rail, metro, bus and taxi all reach Seoul Station, but getting from your accommodation to the platform takes time. Allow separately for luggage, finding the platform and food or restroom stops.
Busan Station is a starting point
Nampo and Yeongdo lie to the west; Seomyeon, Haeundae and Gwangalli require another move. If arriving late, begin close to the station or Nampo rather than forcing two distant districts into one evening.
Leave slack around the ticket
Weekend, holiday and event dates can reduce direct seats. Choose trains around your key activity and check change or refund conditions before paying. Delays, weather, luggage storage and check-in are all reasons to avoid a tight connection.
